M DRIVER’S PACKAGE.

WITHIN THE OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT PACKAGE OPTION 7ME (“M DRIVER’S PACKAGE”).

The Vmax of the BMW M2 (F87/G87), BMW M3 (E90/E92/E93/F80/G80/G81), BMW M4 (F82/F83/G82/G83), BMW M5 (F10/F90), BMW M6 (F06/F12/F13), M8 (F91/F92/F93), BMW X3M (F97), BMW X4M (F98), BMW X5M (E70/F85/F95), BMW X6M (E71/F86/F96), BMW M760Li (G12) can be increased by acquiring the optional package M Driver’s Package (option 7ME) to:

  • 270 km/h for the XM (G09), M2 (F87)
  • 275 km/h for the X5M (E70), X6M (E71)
  • 280 km/h for the M2 Competition (F87), M3/M4 (E90/E92/E93/F80/F82/F83/G81/G83), X5M (F85), X6M (F86),X3M/X4M (F97/F98)
  • 285 km/h for the M2 (G87), X3M Competition/X4M Competition (F97/F98)
  • 290 km/h for the X5M/X6M (F95/F96), XM Label (G09), M3/M4 (G80/G82):
  • 305 km/h for the M5/M6/M8, M760Li (G12)

G12: not with option 7GY and / or option 403 and / or option 258. The following applies to SA 258: The conversion to the required Vmax tyres must be guaranteed by the dealer and approved by a technical testing center. G80/G81/G82/G87: not with SA 403 electric glass roof.

 

In addition to the technical Vmax increase, the option package includes a voucher for one person for a racetrack training.

* Valid for standard training vehicle depending on availability M2 / M3 / M4. 
** Additional payment: Customer must pay the difference between the voucher value of € 1.200,- and the current training price.

Additionally, if not already installed on the model:

  • a rear spoiler, painted in body colour (SA 754) for M5 (F10),
  • a rear spoiler, painted in body colour (no offer for the omission option SA 326), for M3 (E90/E92)

By ordering the option package 7ME, the increase of Vmax will be automatically activated when surpassing the 2,000 km run-in distance and having completed the run-in inspection (not for X5M/X6M and M760Li).

Ex-factory price: EUR 1.688,00.

In combination with option 7MA (only for F10, F06/F12/F13): EUR 827,00 ex-factory price.

The option 7ME is also a full part of the option package 9D9 “M Track Package” (valid for market B6).

In order to receive the M Drivers Package voucher, please contact your BMW M vehicle dealer. Rewriting or submitting the M Drivers Package voucher is only permitted in written form by the voucher recipient. Please note that the order, the sales contract or the factory invoice for the voucher creation are not sufficient. All documents must be in German or English or a translation into these languages must be attached. As soon as the documents are available, the voucher will be sent to your customer within 14 days. The basic period of validity of the vouchers is 3 years. The beginning of this three-year limitation period is the end of the year in which the voucher was issued. The voucher loses its validity with the end of December 31th of the third consecutive year.

Range depends on various factors, in particular: individual driving style, route characteristics, outside temperature, heating/air conditioning, pre-conditioning.

For plug-in hybrid: At temperatures below minus 10 degrees Celsius, the fully electric drive system is only available after a few kilometres of driving, once the battery has heated to operational temperature.

For models with Boost function: Temporary uprating <10 seconds in excess of specified nominal value.

The models illustrated include optional equipment. Due to regular software updates, screen designs in the communication may differ from the actual screen design in your car.

For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case).
