Want to break out of your routine and experience action? With our Newcomer training, you will bring a vehicle into a controlled drift for the first time.

First, take a theoretical dive into the exciting aspects of driving physics. Then, get acquainted with your BMW M vehicle on the warm-up course, practicing steering technique, proper line of sight, and precise throttle control.

Then the real action begins: you will let your vehicle break out in a controlled manner on a wet surface, and safely catch it again. We will show you how to drift precise circles and use the full potential of the first two gears. In directional changes, find the perfect balance and steer the BMW M4 steadily in the desired direction.

Already have some drifting experience? With the BMW M Drift Academy Advanced training, you will refine your technique and master complex manoeuvres with even more precision.

Refresh your drift knowledge on the warm-up course. You’ll learn to playfully switch  the direction and angle of the drift. You#’ll keep the vehicle stable even in higher gears and speed. Your goal: to shift the drift seamlessly while maintaining control.

 

 

Our BMW M instructor will always be at your side, offering valuable tips to refine your technique.

Elias brings his years of experience and passion for drifting to the Professional Plus training of the BMW M Drift Academy. With his background as an aerospace engineer and his role as technical director of a drift team, he guides you through an exclusive and intensive training experience together with our BMW M instructors.

Take your drifting skills to a new level and learn from one of the best in the industry. Active in the drift sport for over eight years, Elias shares his numerous tips and tricks with you. He takes pride in passing on his knowledge and witnessing the success of the participants. Maybe some will even pursue a career in drifting?

The instructor primarily assesses your progress from the outside – watching you and giving appropriate instructions to enhance your learning curve throughout the drift training.

Our BMW M Drift Academy fleet, consisting of BMW M3 and BMW M4 vehicles, is also equipped with the BMW M Drift Analyser. The app helps you accurately assess your drifts while still in the car. You can see both the duration of the drift and its length in meters. The drift angle and the level of traction control on which you held the drift are also recorded. This allows you to refer back to previous settings and apply them to future drifts.

With this strong combination, you quickly optimise your drift performance and get the most out of your BMW M Drift Academy training.
